Artistic Practice: Improvisation
An improvisation practice I’ve been developing during my time working at Norrdans focuses on memory recall/invention/archiving, the play between ambiguity and clarity, the moment of decision-making, and communal land-marking/mapping using inanimate objects in the space.
[The play between “ambiguity” and “clarity” - ranging from form, task, space and direction, emotional expression / perception]

Artistic Practice: Integrated Audio Description, Improvisation
Damini Gairola and I worked together on developing a method of accessibility-centered collaboration where we share an improvised dance for non-sighted audiences, by using integrated audio description of improvised movement in real time.
